Ryan 2Bar tuning and Charlie at Surrey RR..

Post by Sideways Si »

What can I say that hasn't already been said before !!..

I really am impressed with them, and hope they continue there interest in MR2's for as long as I own one. And i'm sure I speak for everyone else who has used there services...

After a complete rebuild. and different mods.. and 6 months later..my car was sort of running.. it wouldn't boost and it was all over the place.. having a Greddy E-01 boost controller must be like having a laptop computer to make you some toast.. It's really too feature rich for it's own good..

Is this a problem for ryan,, I don't think anything is..

He even changed some pins over on my Apexi Power FC ECU because my hand commander was getting it's Intake temp readings from the turbo inlet and not the MAT Sensor.. No problem ..Done..

Charlie will always tell you what is going on and I love his setup of having multiple monitors of your cars progress straight from the dyno readings all around his garage, and in the waiting room.

We got the result we were after and i was chuffed to bits..

455 FWHP
388 WHP
360 lbs of torque

@1.4Bar boost on a GT35R..

And today even though the temps were extremly high,
The quarter mile, I managed 12.4 @ 113Mph.. on road tyres..
This wasn't at santa pod's nice tarmac surface either..

As a comparison Ferrari F50 did 12.98 @ 121..

Thanks Guys...

Looking forward to seeing you again soon... :thumleft:

Great time that mate for only 1.4bar :thumleft:

Now get the fueling sorted and were see if you can handle it at 2bar of boost.
