Hi James,

Don't know whether I prefered it before or after as I love the Border front, did the right thing IMO getting rid of the Border sides though, and I'd guess standard is going to be easier to sell.

Looks smart even with the bodge, never though of colour coding the radiator though.

Was suprised you didn't go for yellow calipers, but then again I like everything colour coded.

My wardrobe full with half black and half white t-shirts so I'm pretty boring in that respect.

.

.

.which is why I've got a black

(well more sort of moo cow cloured at the mo) car.

I'm a caliper paint lover, but did go to extreme with mine.

Ended up sanding the whole thing down to a mirror finish

(components as well) and covered them with VHT laquer which went yellowish and the rust came through

so that was easily 80 or so hours down the pan.

Ended up just spraying them silver/chrome.

Only upside is that as they are smooth they reflect the light nicely and catch my eye everytime I see the car.

Hope you went for the smooth hammerite over the hammered look.

What size wheels you after, I have a set of 16" deep dish

7 spoke with polished rims and centres and worn F1's, that I'm refurbing inside and out.

.

.

.over the last year or two.

After doing all my engine, brake components etc I can't look at sandpaper anymore so I look for anything else to do before getting down to finishing them.

If your after 16" let me know and I'll put up some pics.

They are Fensai wheels and never seen them on another car, let alone an MR2 but seriously look great.

Was going to put them back on mine but the 17's I have look alittle dwarfed now with the kit.

Can also have them sprayed to your personal colour of choice!

Are you going to polish your ring, or stay brushed.

Marc
