Therefore, after much talking with Javelin, they have agreed to hold the date from the public until the 13th August. This effectively gives us one month to fill the places on the date of 13th September.

Payment can be made direct to Javelin so get your names down on that list!

After the 13th August the date will be made public and anybody, whether an MR2 owner or not, will be able to book themselves onto it.

Any questions, fire away!

It seems the above might've changed as it's already on their website events list... Depending on how the funds go with my potential new turbo purchase, I could be interested in this - are we paying the £119 as per their site?

Not sure mate. Think its a few meters away at a specific rev limit?
105db is a lot though so i dont think it will be too bad?

Javelin use a similar method to most other TDO's - SPL meter attached to the end of a stick - not pretty, but it works.

And then as posted above, you hold your car at 4500rpm whilst they get your noise level. You get a sticker on the windscreen if you pass or not if you fail.

If you are worried about levels, take a baffle with you or put a quieter (stock?) system on before you go :thumleft:

Scott, we are deffo going to this. Just need to get a few things out the way first before paying up. Like a working car...

I hope so because it's about time they put their money where their mouth is :D

All this talk about ferrari beaters etc...

To be fair I've had fun chasing down and trying to keep up with Sy Taylors at Anglesey before and he was a tad quicker than me in my N/A. But TBH, he's just as quick in his N/A's...
