How much does a dealer mark up (see inside) - also - dodgy mr2s beware!

Haha, the dealer in my first post has now changed the pictures on his adverts (on various sites) to remove the reg plate and put the dealer name in place, firstly if he's nothing to hide then this isn't needed, secondly from the details and cross reffing of the pics you can still tell it's the same car or at least be 95% sure.

All this tells me is this dealer isn't to be trusted, not to mention he's probably read this the money grabbing &£*%*$


be extra careful of considering a car that the dealer feels the need to blank out the reg on, any potential owner absolutely REQUIRES that reg number for checks before travelling esp on a car over £1000. Even more so on a car marked up by £1100.

funny - I've just noticed exactly the same thing. And came to the same conclusions as yourself... I don't mind folks making a few bob out of selling honest cars, but the "shine 'em up, move 'em on" brigade are no use at all.

A good original post, fascinating to see others hitting the same problems in getting a new '2 !

Yes Beware

I bought mint ball a few months back, a few days after i found the reason why the Temp Gauge did not work, the wire had been removed from the temp sensor, and the HG was gone.

I got this car from a Dealer who had took it as a trade in put it on ebay after getting its valeted. Prob covered up the fault. Filmed it running on On Youtube
and had loads of pics, i fell for it and got it.

Oh well im loving it now.
