Nope, no kit for my 2. Only thing it's going to have is my own design of rear spat and a staggered diameter wheel set up (though 15/16 as I've done in the photoshop above.... don't really want 17s on the rear). As for other kit parts... Toyota spent a lot of time in the wind tunnel with the 2, you think any kit actually improves on what their engineers and aerodynamisists came up with?

Devils advocate comment here.....

Could you not argue that Toyota's designers would have also spent a lot of time deciding exactly what colour shades would have best suited the shape of the MR2?

TBH I agree with your choice of going with an OE/subtle style of modifying for your Two, but then you should choose a colour which matches that style. Sowie dude, Lambo green aint it.

Any bit of fibreglass you bolt on is going to make *ugger all difference unless you are intending to intensively shave 10ths of a second off a quarter mile time...remember they make compromises on design. It is not the BEST aerodynamic solution they came up with, but the CHEAPEST and EASIEST to live with for 95% of the population.

Black/green :thumleft: but yes it needs something to lift it. Unkitted it just looks kind of bare.

....Hmm, yes if it's got a suitable bodykit, otherwise no for me. Personally if you're not a fan of bodykits I'd put the reg plates back where they were meant to be, fit a rev 1/2 spoiler and re-spray it white. Though, if we all wanted the same thing it would be boring though I guess!!

I've seen your car a couple of times irl and it looks nice as is mate, I cant see lime green paintwork improving its looks.

Get a nice set of white enkei's or some work equips and your car would look awesomer though! The rear numberplate relocation looks better when you actually see it imo, although maybe you need to get rid of the stock indent bit.

Thx for the kind comment Race Idiot. I agree with you that the plate relocation looks better in the flesh and yes bigger wheels are planned but only on the rear! Thinking 15x7.5 and 16x8.5 with 215/50 fronts and 245/45 rears. I'd love to go bigger but don't want to compromise handling but also want to keep a larger diameter on the rear (compared to front) for cosmetic reasons.

I tend to agree with the other comments.. its a very loud in your face colour for what is, looks wise a pretty stock car..

If you're not into lairy kits could be work 'shopping some spats and really subtle skirts on just to even out the look? -The kind of kit where you don't really realise its kit if you don't know what you are looking at if you get what I mean!

There was a Lupo at work in that colour and it looked awfull. Some cars look good in it but others dont.

You definatly need a bodykit on it if you are going for that colour I think.

Personally I would go for a candy green or candy red :thumleft:

i have to say i agree, i think "yo ride" looks mint in white, but to do it a wild colour like that i think you may need to modifi to make it work.

Needs kitting to look good in that colour, It does look better with the black roof though and the wheels :thumleft:

If not a kit then at least something on the front, it looks kind of weird for some reason :-k

Personally i though i wouldnt spray it lime green, I actually saw a lime green escort cab today drive past me (the old shape) and thought to myself, i bet that looked pretty good when he had it done but how ugly does it look now..... I would think you'd live to regret spraying it lime green and the resale value would just plummet.

I hate to say it but i rekon your car would look wicked Matt black, proper evil looking..... think kinda of like a drag car look.

On a different note, have you ever thought about having the old number plate recess filled in? I kinda like where you've put the plate (makes it look fatter) but the bumper looks silly with that centre panel in it.
