[Mk2] [Generic] Lime Green 2... what you think (pics)?

Still considering a respray and if so a colour change. I've just photoshopped my car into a rather lovely lime green, last 2 pics in my garage. I've got the usual photobucket prob, could somebody post em up please? Many thanks.

I like the idea of lime green but that colour is a little dull ^

If your gunna go for an all out colour, make it super standout imo

Im sorry but I have to say that looks awfull imo it might look okay on a really kitted up modified 2 but personally it wouldnt suit your car at current.

In all honesty got to agree. Although your car is a one off because of what you have done with the rear it does need to be 'tastefully kitted' for it to look pukka.

Its like Kawasaki green??

Why not just get a nice white, maybe one with a pearlescent element, like the white lamborgini do.

Lambo green is a gorgeous colour..I don't think you've quite managed to capture the shade in that shop; it looks a bit too pastel and not quite acidic enough.

I think it could[/] work on an MR2, but you'd need a more ostentacious bodykit and alloys to pull it off (a black roof would look sweet on there too!)

It'll match the puke colour above! You've already got a mid life crisis sports car (although we both bought ours a long time ago , please don't turn it into an 17 year olds chaz mobile.....unless you like Burberry.

i agree with what people have said if it was really kitted up the car would look the dogs b0ll0cks, but in a standardish form no agreed its a lovely colour though

Hmmm, not going very well for my green concept is it.
I'm still loving it myself but hear what many are saying. I'll agree when I did the photoshop I didn't have a lambo pic for reference so I just played till I thought it was there though as Monaco says it could be brighter and a little sharper I'll agree.
Thing is the green does look fabulous next to the silver and black and considering it will only be done when I have an engine change (v6 or beams) I dont think theres an issue calling more attention to it without a kit, it's v v unlikely my car will ever wear a kit, I know if I were going out with Giselle I wouldn't make her wear a mask when I took her out!

Not saying its not different but either way of putting on bodykit or not your still atracting attention by having it sprayed lime green are you not?

If not full bodykit have you considered rev3/bomex splitter, subtle wings and rev3/5 spiler? Would compliment the colour a bit more imo.

How about limegreen and black? Black top half and side mirrors + spoiler maybe???

Green en black or green en carbon or green en charcoal grey or green en high sparkle black gloss.
Dark roof-bonnet-rear engine lid-rear panel In lights-side mirrors-wheel centre off split rims.

if you want to go lime green you MUST kit it, nothing lairy mind you, say... toms/bomex front toms sides and rear sans side splitters? and bright silver 16/17 front rear split
