[Mk2] [Turbo] Aquaplaning in the Dry?!

Hi all,

Somethings weirds going on, my car seems to be handling v v badly - quite dangerous actually, seems above around 65mph, i seem to be all over the place, as if im skidding..either in the dry or in the wet! anyone any ideas?

Agreed, lower ball joints and worn topmounts cause a wandering feel that on mine needed constantly correcting.

agree, its definately something to do with the steering or suspension...your just going to have to work your way through the above until you see what it is...

What suspension you got?? Set to hard will make you bounce across the road.

Mine started handling like this a few months ago. Got everything checked by garage. Nothing faulty or in need of replacement. Tyres are fine and alignment has been done.
Got so fed up with it, i just stopped driving it!

My old N/A had a similar problem. Turned out part of the lower suspension arm was loose and needed tightening up.
