hi all cant seem to search for a certain subject any one else found this?? any way of the beaten track.
Ive got play on my rear wheel bearing so ive starting stripping it down to change it ive removed the hub and started by removing the circlip, not sure which way do i press the bearing out??? any pics would help many thanks

press the bearing out the way the circlip came off. the circlip is there to keep it in place, so the bearing comes out of the same end as the clip

You'll need a garage to press it out mate, my local Mr T only charged me £20 to press out and re-fit mine, might be worth a go :thumleft:

Even if you do get the old one out you'll probably damage the new one putting it back in!

Try a 1 ton Press you will never in a million years move the outer trace without bashing the xxxxxx xxxx out of it with a chisel and hammer,

and presuming you didnt know which way the bearing came out you anit got one ?? or I might be wrong.

no i aint got one yet i was going to get the bearing out and take it down to my local bearing specialist and see how much they can get one for. ive got the advantage of having my dads workshop with a 100 ton press so shouldnt be a problem getting it out :lol:

That'll do it nicely :thumleft:

Whatever you do though, don't use the brake caliper tabs to support the hub or you'll either bend em or snap em off!
