I would disagree mate but.......... I used to have the only MR2 in Cranleigh but now there are 4 or 5 cropping up!! Still the only turbo though

How dare you insult the Guildford meet in that way!!

For starters it is not at night so no chavs at all!! No chavs own MR2's in the Guildford area.....

We meet up usually at spectrum car park for 45 mins or so....Have a good ol chinwag about our motors.....Problems, mods, dyno runs, or smut!! and then we go for an hour long blast through some of Surrey, Sussex and Hampshires best A and B roads. Finally winding down at a pub somewhere for food and a cold pint!!

Don't worry, he is just winding you up.
The Guildford Meet has nothing to do with the Guildford Cruise.
Its only MR2s (bar an ocassional diversion to Celica / VW etc) and its for a chat, a laugh and a good drive, some food at the end.
Its about car appreciation, not about doughnuts (except the eating variety) or wheelspins, burnouts etc.
The less Max Power the better is the aim of the Guildford Meet.

I saw a 355 kitted MR2 pulling out on one of the many many roundabouts on the ring road of Chi on monday night. Was being driven like a fanny though.

yeh i know the kid in the ferrari rep and he is a fanny to be fair! well i currently have half a mr2 sitting on my drive but my car now is a dc2 jap spec honda integra. oh and chris billing also lives in bognor as i have brought parts off him when mine was still driveable!

Bumped into a decent MR2 owner from round that area on my way there last time actually. He had a dark green V6 conversion and we indulged in a bit of automotive cat and mouse tomfoolery (all within leagal speed limits of course ) and then pulled over and had a chat. Can't remember his name and not sure if he's on here or not?

V6 ay? Hmm... ...haven't seen him around.

Have to keep my eyes peeled. The only 2's I've seen around my area is Yellow one with an old timer behind the wheel who really didn't wanna wave back, several black ones (one driven by a very grouchy looking skinhead with his mate in the passenger seat who...yet again did not want to wave lol), a turqoise (aqua marine lol) one thats for sale which I had a test drive in and thats it.

Oh and of course mcoppen in his monster but not seen that one the road yet.
