I must admit i was a bit pi$$ed off with the way a mk2 tubby that he told me was standard left me when we where side by side doing about 70 on the way to JAE.
I know the sc is for instant speed and might pull ahead from a tubby from the lights but i have the fensport pulley,so i thought i would have given him a bit more of a go![]()
People on here have told me before to stick with my sc se as it is but it's not a standard se anyway! Mine has a very good shell and most of the parts that need to convert it, eg, lsd, uprated brakes and suspension, along with an sc gearbox that will be fully reconditioned.
Maybe i will be phoning Paul Woods, afterall![]()
Spend the money on the conversion rather that getting a Supra, that i was thinking of!

As for converting an SE supercharger, its an option I suppose, but purely from a financial point of view, selling then converting a solid NA would be the way to go for me..

Yes it could be, but i don't want a mk1 i want an eight-six, so has to be NA or at a push an SC seeing as we have a spare rebuilt supercharger engine lying around.![]()

richinlondon wrote:True about MPG, I guess a Supercharged V6 does sound more appealing than a n/a V6!

(think thats right?), and I only see the point in paying that if your going drifting; AW11 faster road car.

Well its what i like and its what i want i guess.I've always loved these since i was 12.
But, i would be using it on track and doing my drifting/fast driving there. Not sure that a mk1 is faster at all tbh given the eight-six's lighter weight, but there is much, much more to a car than simply how fast it is.

After all, an SE is just an mr2 with stickers, paint, seats and steering wheel, it doesn't have a SE performance enhancement or special engine so there's no loss there by chucking out the gze.
