Right, first time woodsy ever built one of these so could get interesting.

Here is my car.

And here is most of the engine dismantled/disconnected.

The plan here is to run a hybrid ct26 at low boost pressure on the stock ecu until an ecu becomes available, then we can wind things up a bit,but not too far after all we are on still on stock internals.

pics of the engine out, nothing too spectacular happening at the mo.

Mock up,a possible location for it the turbo

This would mean chopping the boot panel about or even removing a section of it,but it does give more room to locate stuff, also you can see the AFM and air filter would be sitting in the right side boot corner,so a possible vent or scoop could be added to the bodywork here for cold induction air.

This set up also gives plenty of room for the intercooler above the gearbox.

A Fidanza aluminum flywheel(9lbs)
Aluminum flywheels have been used for many years for increasing performance.

RPS Performance Turbo sport series clutch stage 2-Torque cap:390 pressure increase+15%

Turboclutch Sport Series clutches offer unmatched value.

Sport Series clutch kits are available with both street discs and RPSs unique sprung hub 6-puck disc.

The V6.

And here it is pulled apart and degreased.

Then the pistons were pulled out

And the bottom end inspected.

ordered a brand new set of shell bearings for the bottom end on this engine, the old ones looked ok but i figured its not worth taking a chance while pauls got the bottom end apart.

And the first step taken to turbo charge.

well the heads were sent off to CTM for porting out, valve job and reshim.

This leaves paul with bu88er all to do until parts come back, but he did get the turbo oil return sorted today.

This is a mk2 turbo oil return fitting, and its been welded into the sump at the highest point on the front of the engine so its above the oil level.

paul has also ordered 2m of braided high pressure oil feed line from these people www.speedflow.co.uk

So most of the parts are coming together, thats going to be the hold up now before we see further progress.
