i cant remember nor do I know ,what I can tell you is that it was more powerful than a standard n/a and certainly reved/pulled stronger but if it was beams or not I dont know. All I remember was it had trust or trd in the cylinder heads and a thirst for fuel.

Yes I would! Fantastic cars, loved it a lot. Since then I've had bigger faster cars, just sold a UK 350z as I'm returning to education but it took the Z to capture any of the feel and fun of the MR2.

These are superb cars (then you know it) so enjoy them and dont sell as I'm sure they'll start to appreciate?

Glad your still with us, that is a great vid it really makes people think, it actually brought a tear to my eye, it was good to see you in the pub looking fine at the end. I remember seeing the state of my fathers car after a crash back in 1981 where he had a head on with a lorry, it drove over the front of the car and driver side with him in it and he had similar injurys to you (broken femur, ankle, shin both arms and multiple ribs, spent 10 months in hospital) but is all fine to this day. Your video really made me think how close to a far worse fate he and you have come due to someone elses questionable manouver in a car.

Had similar, though I walked away. But know the feeling of everything getting put into perspective - but unfortunately everything goes back to how things were and the little things get to you again

The police reckon it was the lack of engine thus huge crumple zone that saved me as it took all that energy.

mikes constant protection of the ford driver really touched me, also i'd had a near miss with a tipper in my side of the road around then, and me being in my lorry at the time i had no where to go so it really hit my over tired and frazzled nerves. hell i actually advertised both my twos

but having heard that the cops reckon the rear engine design saved mike I'll finish my project. but at the risk of sounding like a big girls blouse, i have slowed down considerably since watching it.
