[All] [Generic] Adjusting camber

Post by Leon. »

Looking at the front/rear of my car from a distance and crouching low to look at the outside edges of the wheels, it looks like my front wheels have negative camber on them, as in they are angled out at the top.

I have tein flex coilovers with camber adjustable topmounts. Is it possible to just jack the car up on both front corners and move this adjustment or would something else need to be changed as well?

On a side note, can the stock setup (front) be adjusted for camber or do you need camber adjustable bolts to be able to do that?

TIA

yeah on the top mounts adjust them so your bringing the top of the struts in. there isnt alot of room to do it with them on the car so you may have to pull the struts out to do it. what a pain its how i had to do mine!

the stock shocks arent adjustable unless you buy a camber bolts from twosrus

For a rev 3 factory limits are,
Front: -1''42' min and -0''18' max
Rear: -2''17' min and -0''53' max

For the stock system camber is non adjustable, and toyota recommends changing the parts if out of spec.

My camber front is
Left: -1''44'
Right: -1''28'

Rear
Left: -1''57'
Right: 1''35'

I am on stock suspension

Hope it helps

Don't worry a lot about it unless its way off as its McPherson struts and the camber changes as the wheel moves up and down, hence McCrapson

Double A- arms (Watts linkages) FTW \:D/

Those Porsche GT3's have MacCrapsens.. don't knock them..

Equal length double wishbones are not only worse on the road but positively dangerous on extreme cornering.

Unequal length double wishbones are the best, but it's marginal, and extremely expensive as an option.
