
i used hammerite previously and found after a while it became very soft, then i was told that an undercoat of hight temp matt paint followed by regular car paint would do the job? is this true.

I've got my cover painted with the normal car paint i've used on the car itself aswell..

it's been on for more then a year and somewhere around 10k miles now and still looks good and doenst fade at all..
