Well, situation now is that I have taken delivery of the border front bumper, when spittinflames is back online i can organise collection of the border rear spats, and i'll pick up my MRD skirts on the 24th $\:D/$

I think the date for the spray is either the 2nd/3rd March or the 10th March

Cant bloody wait

Well after a hell of alot of back breaking sleepless hours and money, the tubby has finally been resprayed.

As she stands there are a few small pieces to do (engine side panels, sideskirts and rear spats, headlamp covers and surrounds etc) but they are being done Wednesday night.

I will post up a few pictures of her tonight to give everyone an idea of what she looks like now...I have a huge biography of photos to add

I cant wait to get her registered now..she looks sooooo sexy

VERY individual but I love it $\:D/$ Makes a change for me to drive a non standard looking car.

Will update with pictures later

unfortunately going to have to wait a few days

Lost all my damn photo's...as soon as i've found whee the auto save thingy has put them i'll post them (or i'll take more lol)

Cant wait to show you all...trailer'd her back home tonight

she is very low though-no had to block the drop kerb

to get her onto my drive

will have to sort that

OK, well this is an awfull picture but as it stands this seems to be the only one I can find..straight out of the oven (literally!) as much as I would have loved to show her in her best light, I cant lol. In this photo there's still quite alot of work to do. I will be fitting the headlight covers and surrounds on saturday, along with the spats and MRD sideskirts. The mirrors are off the car now to be painted black to match the roof and I'll be painting behind the border nose black also before its black meshed-I want a nice clean dark look as opposed to being able to see yellow behind the mesh. All the doors,bonnet boot etc have all got to be aligned (the gaps are well off lol) as they were quickly fitted up so I could get her home.

I have got an issue now though-I cant get her either on or off my drive

Something I'm not going to get around easily is asking the council for planning permission to tarmac the drop kerb so its less of a gradient pmsl...she's only 2.5 inches from the floor at the front

So now you have seen the colour change (yes under the bonnet/boot/engine/door shuts have also been changed-full strip and repaint) What does everyone think??? $\:D/$

very nice, black over colour always looks good.

this is the idea i have for mine but with a twist i think as i change my mind all the time.

thanks hun-I stayed with the 576 later MR2 yellow in the end (what a nightmare it is deciding on a colour if your doing a colour-change) you think "yes definately that one" then change your mond again lol.

I was 99.9% going to go lamborghini orange/black top-but swayed against it as the other half nicked that for his cossied kit car

Glad I went yellow in the end now..I just cant wait to get the last bits put on
