*interested* Are you building a normal 4age for a turbo or a 4agze?
What manifold you using?

Standard 4AGE which will be rebored for 82mm (if I remember right) Arias forged low comp pistons.

Manifold, I'll either be buying Laurens or theres a guy I know in the States who will make one + downpipe for a T3 turbo. I can get a 40-45 trim Garrett T3 with nice low a/r of 0.48 off e-bay in the states, I'm pretty sure this'll spool up nice and early (2k rpm) but I've got to sit down and do all the calculations

I need to find out if the CT25/28 has the same manifold and down pipe fittings as the T3, anyone?

I think its a bit different to the T3.

Do you mean Carl Crawford on making the manifold? That's who made Laurens anyway.

I guess the 4age has the same block as the 'ze - I will have a spare ze with blown shells in the new year if you're looking for some SC parts though.

Not sure if Carl makes them any more, the one I'm looking at is on www.4agte.com

4AGE block is the same as the AGZE, although I'm not sure of the crank and rods (may be interested in those). The block I have is near perfect and the only problem with the head is that I managed to snap one of the exhaust manifold bolts!

:D :D I have just heard from my importer who imported the car for me, He did some sourcing in japan about what model my car is.
He said ''the car is a ltd edition turbo model and that there were only 50  yes only 50 of these models ever made'', He also said ''I spoke to toyota japan & forwarded the chassis number / model number so they could tell inform me accuratley as possible to the model of the vehicle. There replied saying the model was luanched in 1996-1999 & that this model was number 11 as stated on the bottom of the vin tag''.
I went to toyota Uk but could not provide me the info, becuase there data base only holds uk specifics  Anyway i'v got some pics, so they should be here shortly 8)

Yeah, its been a while hasnt it!The pistons went in lovely but i did post they looked a little small in the bores, but then again i heard they expand more than regular alloy ones.
What made you choose the turbo you're running Xxxx?

Quite similar to my spec (check Profile). Looks like yet another 400+ monster in the making!

Thats whats so good about buying an already built one from Japan. Mapped by the best and also you dont have to wait for things to get 'built up'!

Ahhhhhhh

Yeah,i'm really hoping to break 400 at the flywheel at least, ten tuning and a 75shot should see me deep into the 11's (or is that v.optimistic?)
Only thing limiting me now is the std cams/headwork/TB/inlet manifold and injector size, but it'll do for the meantime i reckon! As long as the power increase is steady (reason for retaining stock cams+TB) and not all peaky.
