Dave, looks like a cross between a Gallardo and a VX220 :-k

Could be interesting, who's gonna design it?

cj82, that looks like a Veilside attempt at a Ferarri front

TBH Im not really a fan on the design, I think headcover you should work on getting a great fitting trd kit as there are none out there at mo and maybe make it alittle wider and lower as the trd bumpers sit high

not trying be negative or anything but the wing mirrors are going have go where they are currently mounted or were just going end up with a black bit with nothing stuck on where they used be.

the mk3 did have them mirrors but toyota failed on the mk3 as it looks crap imo

without the vents on the bonnet and stuff it looks a 100x better :D

I see where you're coming from Rob, but I'm sure the original wing mirror baseplate can be removed and blanked off without too much hassle .

Here's another version that I quite like :)

no no no no no no no no no no!

Looks faaaaaaaaaaaaaaar too much like a Lamborghini wannabe. Sorry mate for stirring the pot a bit but i just think the Ferrari replica boys will have some company in the 'hated by MR2 AND ferrari owners' club. Just brings forward all the points raised before about trying to look like youre something youre not. Also the look is VERY exotic meaning the quality and fit would have to be flawless. I know your work Headcover is brilliant but what od those who fit the kit themaselves? A little missalignment and I can see the chavs drooling already. It will literally have to look a million dollars to pull the look off.

The RX7 Fortune kit mentioned above and featured in Tokyo Drift is a great example. That car really DOES look like a million dollars and it certainly doesnt look like a 4k jap turbo terro nor a kit car. It looks like part of the supercar club.

I just think that it has to

a) enforce the character and traits of the SW20 or

b) look so detached that it pretty much DOES become a supercar in terms of design, looks and build quality.

Just my £50 worth!

Feedback is always appreciated Bobby. On the point of someone fitting one badly, the kit will not be for sale for diy . It will only be available as a complete conversion . Dave is still batting about some ideas, but the concept is leaning towards building cars to be sold as neos mr2's with full service and some tuning options a possibility etc.
Although I'm sure Dave will accept customer cars in for a full re-body and paint .
I think the kit still looks like an MR2, it's not that far on from the trd, with some reflections of the mk3 veilside design as well .
Personally I love the idea, and think it just needs refined .

I hope MR2 lover doesn't mind me using his car as a base for this, but I played around with some tweaks to the trd kit as well >>

I also like the sard front wings, might be a good way to go >>
