Hello,

Some of you may remember from back in the day, I used to own a Rev 3 N/A that I had to sell due to family commitent

.

.

gutted is the only word I can only use, but hey we all have responsibilities

Any way after 2 years of driving a Fiesta and Vectra I found myself in a better situation to afford a better car, I really wanted another MR2

.

.

Rev 3+

Turbo, but I wanted something newer, hot hatch or coupe, test drove a Honda Civic Type R

- This was good fun, but very basic inside, not many gadgets.

Then a Seat Leon Cupra R 225, I liked this a lot and perfect to use when me the missus and Thomas go out instead of using her Golf

.

.

but that was the problem, we had the Golf

.

.

the Leon had all the interior similarities to her Golf

.

.

.

Low and behold the Audi TT 225, I took it for a drive and thought this is it for me, low down, coupe and in my eyes, fast

So I bought one,

and have now owned it or 2 months, the thing is I dont get the same excitement, feeling when I used to drive the MR2, and as bad as it sounds the Audi has only been cleaned once since I've had it

.

.

while I was shopping in Tescos

I used to religously clean the MR2, every weekend

.

.

.

I think it's like a first love, always there in my heart as silly as it sounds LOL

Dont get me wrond the Audi is great fun and the build qulaity is superb, but I think the MR2 is definetly my favourite, I think because at the time

(back in 2001) you never saw many Rev 3 MR2s

.

.

.

the TT is like xxxx in a field, they're everywhere LOL

Anyway, thanks for reading I do pop in from time to time and nice to see some names that are still here

MR2s Rule!
