In a 1/4 mile run

/ race your never going to be out of the power band

- the engine revs to 8,250 so at best will in the world even with a rubbish gear change your still going to be well in the power band.

If you caught off guard then sure a GT powered car would be outta there but in an all out race the 2 cars on different turbo's but same power would be evenly matched.

IIRC my top speed was actually quicker than Mike's but not 100%

- im not sure what power Mike's is either?? I guessed circa 500?

I personally enjoy the lag

- it adds to the anticipation and there is always the suprise element with a bit more reward to driving it.

But that is only my opinion and i can understand why some folk wouldnt like to have as much lag.

Its all down to personal choice i guess

- i have brought the spool down another 500 rpm and will be stroking the motor over the next few months so that will bring it down again but the best bit is i still know its going to be pulling like a train
