Thanks guys.

Yeah i must admit its a nice feeling to build a motor yourself and see the results.

The only things i couldnt do was the actual machining like head skim and conrod re size.

Apart from that i did everything.

I need to say a massive thanks to Hussein

@ Performance parts online for supplying me with lots of my bits

- such a great guy!!

Also Tim@TB again supplied me with lots of bits

Not forgetting Mark

(Nightspirit) for sourcing me many parts inc the monster turbo!

And perfect touch for mixing all the ingredients together correctly to cook up a monster!!

The thing i like about all these guys is the fact that they all have a huge enthusiam about what they do.

And treat it as if it was their own car! To have Hussein come down to see it on the rollers and share my elation was great and when Rob came out of that booth with a grin bigger than a cheshire cat

- for me, that just said it all!!!

Back to the tech stuff now.

Elmo, splashed out

£55+ vat for each fan as they are proper racing fans

(aparently more efficient than spal) and i also got a big scoop under the car to draw the air in when i move at speed.

Im using the same IC as you so there is no prob there.

I do need to vent my bootlid a bit more but on the way back last night when booting it the temps never went above 38deg!!

I run an apexi gt exhaust and nothing on the car is lagged

(yet!!) but the underside tray on the engine cover was removed.

When on flat chat for a while the heat through the bulk head is immense but thats because the dp is about 2 mm from it!!!

Rob seemed pretty sure it was a HKS unit Tim and its defo a bearing turbo because spool up for its size is really good.

I have found pics of a HKS TO4S and it looks very similar

- maybe my compressor wheel has been re worked? Who knows!!!! But for a turbo to make that power at that boost it has to be something good!

Cheers guys! Ill get some pics of the graph and the finished item soon
