I'll try to keep this as brief as possible.

It certainly wasn't my intention to prejudice anyones opinion.

The original post requested references for NVi cars, which I responded to.

As I've already pointed out, many people appear satisfied with the service, but I wasn't.

Tom,

Thank you for your response, it's always useful to hear the other's point of view.

I'd just like to clarify a couple of items you raised.

I originally came to look at the SMG car, but was disappointed with the paintwork.

I see it's still for sale.

I briefly looked at the Sonic Shadow car but thought it too expensive at

£8.5k.

About 6 weeks later I returned to drive the car, this time I believe at

£8k but was still not convinced.

A number of months later, it was still for sale but I kept checking the website as price reductions were inevitable.

When you reduced it to

£7k I thought that despite the paintwork problems, I would take a gamble and buy the car, knowing a decent paintshop would sort it out, even if you couldn't.

When I did call, the car had been sold to someone else.

If I sounded disappointed, then I was.

I had decided that I did want the car since as you well know, these are extremely rare and I hadn't seen any more in all the time I had been looking.

This is very different to being

'racked off', whatever that actually means.

What I don't take kindly too are random assumptions about what my thoughts were.

There's no

'rub' here and absolutely no link between my negative critique and missing out on the purchase of the car.

Apparently when you told me that a deposit had been left, I

'thought you were just saying it'

- qudos on the mind reading skills.

I'm pleased that you've admitted the car needed work, despite it being advertised as

'mint', thanks for that.

I think it's also important to point out it wasn't just the nose cone but also the whole bonnet that was in poor condition.

I often think that people buying imports seem to put up with this

- if you saw this on other forecourt you'd walk away.

I'll admit my faults.

I am too picky when looking at the paintwork of cars I am thinking of buying.

My e-mails can sometime be antagonistic.

Can you admit your faults?

Instead of making odd assumptions, I think it would useful if you looked at the points made by myself and others and thought about why they are being made.

Improve the website with more photos and more details.

Your last paragraph doesnt even merit a response, bit playground stuff isnt it? Like when someone takes the last sweet

-

'oh, I didn't really want one anyway'.

Dave,

As stated already, you asked for references for NVi.

It feels as though you didnt want to hear anything negative, especially since you have now bought a car from them.

Only a small number of people have posted on this thread and theres more than one issue been raised.

Rudimentary maths shows that this is not 99.9% satisfaction.
