Sorry to sour the thread, but USC was the worst event I've been to at The Pod.

The whole thing was one massive chavvy Max Power style event, with people attempting to 'drift' their 1.2l Corsas in the approach roads, big groups of baseball capped chavs strutting about with their shirts off and drinking Stella in a bid to look tough, and the guys on the Fast Car stand trying to impress people by swearing as much as possible. ](*,)

However...good to see GTSChris fly up the strip with a good time showing on the clock - it stood out a (quarter) mile with the white bonnet/boot setup! :)
Mk2 NA Rev1 -*- Mk2 Turbo Rev2 -*- Mk1 NA -*- Mk2 Turbo Rev 3 = all gone!

Glad you like the new colour scheme :)

Yes, Hear what your saying - USC has allways had if fair share of chavers, I did think it was worse this year but put it down to the fact maybe its just me getting older....... maybe not :)

I asked one of the "security" staff on the friday night what time race sign on would open in the moring, he didnt even know it was car racing event!

Hopefull there will be less chavers at the Jap show - Santa Pod October

was that the one with no front end panels on it at all?

stuff does seem to get quicker and quicker each year at USC.

Becci (aka Ducatichick) ran a 10.2, so atleast 1 imoc member beat the Novas time

no idea chris, i try not to get to far into the nova scene or he try's to 'convert' me to his side, lol, on the other hand, he managed to blow his engine & drive home on 3 cylinders tho!

and andy nichols in the bubble shapped rover 200 pulled a 10.9 1/4 i think, does that make him first 10sec FWD in europe/britain?
476bhp & 415ft lb @ 1.9bar Magic by Ryan!
Gone, but never forgotten
Now with a mk1.5 & a NHB EP3

Must admit that's why I didn't organise an IMOC stand for USC - it has a very poor reputation.

Some nice times there though!

Chained up to a big tele-handler.

Had quite a few people coming up asking about MR2s after that, some unaware that you can get a jdm turbo model.....

I think alot of the Paxo's etc that try and race me on the motorways are unaware of Turbo MR2's lol.

Infact alot of new cars seem to think they would easily get past me which is highly amusing. I call it "new car syndrome"

yes I was in the tubby 900cc go kart again-I snapped the engine casing which make the chain jump off the sprocket so we have some work to do for jap finallie next month-aiming for 9 seconds now-its easy aslong as i can learn to pull away fast in the damn thing #-o

full throttle is less than an inch so its harder than it sounds

Chris-was nice meeting you dear-sorry I was running around like a blue a$$ fly but trying to arrange everyone was a nightmare
