As I often do on a Sunday I drove back home from my g/f's today along the fast country roads and I have to say after 2 years of ownership I still love the way the MR2 drives and handles the road in the dry, I just never seem to get bored of it.

Everything is just as you would want as a driver, perfect steering and seating position, short-shift gears, grippy chassis, mid-engined, rear-wheel drive.

Was really giving it some revs, engine roaring behind me, induction kit growling and the exhaust droning away.

Got the backend to step out a fraction on a few corners making the tyres gently squeal then bringing it back in line.

Then as I approach the lights a quick firm press on the brakes brings the car to a very abrupt but safe stop.

I know I only have an N/A but it's still a fast car and it's really helped me to learn about the great characteristics of the MR2.

I admit I've only had a limited driving experience of cars in my 7 years of driving but the MR2 is easily the best I've driven simply for the way it feels and the fun factor hence I plan to change to a turbo model very soon once I find the right one, that will be another learning experience I'm sure!
