R134a is the refrigerant or

Yours is or was probably R12 refrigerant

- but you've said it was converted so I'd presume the conversion would be to R134a

.anyway, if it is R134a and it's just a top up you need then you can get cans of the stuff from the xxxx at Halfords for

£20-£40.

Dependant on what you get, the can contains about 300g-500g although I think the aircon system needs about 800g to fill it from empty.

Find the low pressure valve on the aircon adjacent to the spare wheel and hopefully marked with an

"L"

(
not 
the high pressure valve which is nearby).

Connect the can up and discharge the refrigerant into your system

- be careful the refrigerant can burn you.

I took my chances that I didn't have a leak when I done this and I was lucky otherwise it might have been a waste of time and money if it just leaked back out.
