Simmo, Malcolm,

There's no camping allowed at Castle Combe itself...

Was aware there was no camping there, didn't seem to be anywhere you could when I was last there.

Assumed there was a camping site near to CC?

Les, you park around the track so you free to leave whenever and can roam the paddock and stands.

Malcom, I think there may be a camping site in Castle Coombe village, not sure though. The pub we had a drink in on the last Bristol meet (the small one) has rooms I think and there is also a travel inn a bit further on down the road.

Toni, will you be bringing your sound meter, need to check the exhaust on the AE.

Will just stay with Moon Monkey just outside of Bristol then, probably easier.

You can add Rich U, Bath (blue tubby) and Ian M, Bath (yellow tubby) to the list.

Yep, we'll definitely be there. Where are we meeting up before hand and did we get a plot? If not are we going to park up in the usual place next to camp corner?

Richie,

No we didn't get a plot. There was insufficient interest early on and the places get booked very quickly indeed. I would be interested in feedback from anyone going (i.e numbers of 2s attending, whether it was any good etc) so we can book a plot for next year early doors.

As far as meeting up, parking, it's up to someone who's going to volunteer to co-ordinate this.

Volunteers?

Sorry guys, looks like I won't be attending now, my Grandad had a heart attack this week, and is still awaiting an operation so the entire family is in chaos. If I do make it, it will be a last minute decision.

Malc, sorry to hear that mate!

Others who are looking to attend. The usual plan is to meet in a big layby just down the road from the track. We can then convoy in and park up at camp which is usually empty in the morning as people fill in and it means we can essentially make our own patch.

Here is the layby - zoom out to find out where it is - easy reach from bristol, bath, chippenham and the motorway junction.

http://www.multimap.com/map/browse.cgi? ... 10&in.y=14

Who is going to be there?

Me, Rich U, Ian M and possibly DaveC will be there (time to be decided - possibly 8.45 and leaving the layby at 9am) time may change.

Cheers

James

Tom, Gaz! is going to be on the MR2oc stand. He always was going to be and I think his original post was a kind of "join ranks" for a day appeal.
