T, I am already in touch with Phild regarding this years JAE. He has agreed to head up our efforts. I am also in contact with the organisers and awaiting further information.

We had an awful lot of feedback last year (both good and bad!) and lots of ideas were banded about.

But I agree, ideas please people.... We want to make this the best ever!

Don't know if this is DP, but here is a video from 2005 for those people who weren't there, or who haven't been to JAE before. I spotted the Rogue race car and a quick shot of the Mk1 club stand, and some OC??

Hi Guys
Last year I said I would like to look after the JAE event this year , and now it is impending, I have been asked and have accepted the responsibility in association with the comittee.
Yes, we have lots of ideas, and most of them are workable as well, I did speak to East of England regarding power supply at the pitches, it can be arranged in advance, but I'm not sure of what power requirements we will be needing and what will eventually be available. So possibly a generator may be needed, but in any case we don't all want to be out in the cold (somewhat literally last year) I will thinking along the lines of baseing the evenings entertainment in and around a marquee (possibly), music, food, beer, karaoke etc etc, maybe PS2 challenges if the power supply is stable enough and a movie later on for all the drunken bums who are too tired / drunk to get back to their tents :lol:
We had a lot of people bringing the disposable barbeques last year, perhaps a large communual one this time? as I said, loads of ideas, I still don't know what the JAE people are thinking about doing this time around so we will have to make sure we don't end up duplicating things.
Stewards during the day to meet and greet, name tags with usernames as well so we know who we are talking too......the list goes on :shock: :)

Phild.. =D>

basically yes that's the ticket ! =D>

if anyone saw the Scooby Marquee down by the front entrance last year at night time knows exactly how a well set up marquee / gazeebo based stand can have some fun.. -

I'm still bringing a Tree - not enough trees at EOE \:D/ :mrgreen:
