I went to the car auctions in Frating Essex last night for a laugh and there were 3 things that stuck out in the evening.
1st
was a Lada went through ok condition and it went for

£5! well funny
2nd
there was a Vauxhall Chevette, mint condition it war purring with 30,000miles on the clock on an A plate, that went for

£100, I forgot all about these classic motoring!
3rd
a 1993 MR2 G-limited

(import) auto, 77K miles, went through, there was something not right about this because it was a 1993 model and it was registered in 1999 as being imported.

.but it had been given a 1999 T plate registration.

I am sure this is dodgy? the rule goes on private plates that you cannot make a car younger than it is, does this rule apply to imports too? even though this registration was strange the car went for

£2800.

well good fun for any evening out though, and just thought i'd share the experience!
