I've got a 2 and i think i could make it. Only thing stopping me is that i am selling my car(not the 2 lol) so if someone comes to see it then i wouldn't be able to make it.

Im not too sure to be honest, i suppose between edinburgh and glasgow would make sense. I know of a meet that happens in South Queensferry at the 2 Bridges Pub/Resteraunt every 1st Sunday of the month but i have not been as yet, apparently a lot of mk1's and mk2's turn up!
Any suggestions?
Am up for anythin, S.queesferry aint far from me ill have to see what am feeling like this sunday ( bday party on sat night ) but i should be ok because i am actually that skint! so should only b drinking the free beer we should get some more people involved tho other than us 3, ill pm JOY DIVISON and see if hes interested. also ill still have a big dent in the front bumper from hitting a fox
Yeah the more the merrier!
I hope the fox had insurance cover!
Im out at a concert Sat night in Glasgw, so im gonna take it easy on the beer just incase this goes ahead!
alright,
wish i could come.
dont get my car back untill the 15th though
will be interested when i get my car back though so count me in for when its back
Damn its 52p here
Seriously, your giving us scot's a bad name! Were already tarred with the "tight" brush! Saying that as far as i know thats more the paisley area lol.

Thats a good idea!
Ive seen that the MR2OC have a few around Scotland, but if we could get our own that would be sweet, maybe meet up with the others once in a while for a big meet???
Any suggestions?
everyone is welcome to the mr2oc meets! dont see why there should be any differences or problems as were all in it cause we rate the mr2.
always a good level of banter going on and tbhis sunday (4th) were meeting at the two bridges pub at 12 then doing a small convoy down to musselburgh where one of the members has basically opened his house for anyone to come along.
a lot of the english members from as far as southhampton, london etc all come up for a weekend of drunken foolishness and get the 2's together.
good to know your feeling's though daveb!
Daveb wrote:It would be good to organise a IMOC Scottish meet sometime rather than attending other MR2 site meets.
I don't think I'll ever understand you Dave. First you want to be an MR2OC regional rep and now you don't even want to attend our meets - very odd
As Fimmo has said, the MR2OC meets are open to everyone. I think when the members are spread so far apart as they are in Scotland it makes more sense to have meets with both clubs together.
At least then there is a good turnout instead of four or five cars at each individual meet.
Andy Findlay - there are a few members from Ayr that come up for the meets - you could always blag a lift
don't you lot start fighting here as well
the two bridges meet is well worth the time and effort. I'm not going to make this sundays as its me dads birthday otherwise I'd be there. Then trash col's house
Alas i wont be able to make my first meet due to the fact the car is STILL in the garage! not rolling out until Monday now!
Life as a pedestrian sucks.
