I've got a 2 and i think i could make it. Only thing stopping me is that i am selling my car(not the 2 lol) so if someone comes to see it then i wouldn't be able to make it.

Im not too sure to be honest, i suppose between edinburgh and glasgow would make sense. I know of a meet that happens in South Queensferry at the 2 Bridges Pub/Resteraunt every 1st Sunday of the month but i have not been as yet, apparently a lot of mk1's and mk2's turn up!
Any suggestions?

It would be good to organise a IMOC Scottish meet sometime rather than attending other MR2 site meets. :)

Thats a good idea!

Ive seen that the MR2OC have a few around Scotland, but if we could get our own that would be sweet, maybe meet up with the others once in a while for a big meet???

Any suggestions?

everyone is welcome to the mr2oc meets! dont see why there should be any differences or problems as were all in it cause we rate the mr2.

always a good level of banter going on and tbhis sunday (4th) were meeting at the two bridges pub at 12 then doing a small convoy down to musselburgh where one of the members has basically opened his house for anyone to come along.

a lot of the english members from as far as southhampton, london etc all come up for a weekend of drunken foolishness and get the 2's together.

good to know your feeling's though daveb!

I don't think I'll ever understand you Dave. First you want to be an MR2OC regional rep and now you don't even want to attend our meets - very odd :?

As Fimmo has said, the MR2OC meets are open to everyone. I think when the members are spread so far apart as they are in Scotland it makes more sense to have meets with both clubs together.
At least then there is a good turnout instead of four or five cars at each individual meet.

Andy Findlay - there are a few members from Ayr that come up for the meets - you could always blag a lift ;)
