i ran 17psi of boost constantly with a greddy intercooler, changed alot since then, had the kit a year now.

Does it run fine on the standard Toyota VSV wastegate controller and ECU
?

Hey Rikki I promise to get you an e-mail later today. But the answer to your first question about running/driving is YES.
As far as running on the standard turbo VSV, no one has tried that yet, but I am sure it is possible.

You will need to place a T in the hose between the turbocharger and the bottom port on the external wastegate.
the open side of the T will go to the turbo VSV to allow it to bleed off boost.
If you have a manual boost controller that requires the VSV to be in place then it will go between the turbocharger and the T.
