Just want to send a big apology to all you guys that went on Saturday.Unfortunately i've been laid-up with a flu type virus all week :-& and been off work too and that's the reason i couldn't make it I did ask Lee to let you know as i know he has your mobile Nos.I was looking forward to this meet and drive.I'm pretty familiar with the route you chose,was a nice route Tom =D>
Anyway,apologies again fellas.If you are going to organise something similar soon i will be up for it,please someone PM me if that's the case

No problem Dave. Three had to drop out at the last minute for one reason or another, it was no-ones fault at all...

In fact in a way it was easier with just the four of us to keep in convoy safely.

We had a great day even if there was quite a lot of traffic.

Next year I aim to organise this again. I will aim to do it early Spring, but late enough to have a reasonable chance of reasonable weather. And I will distribute maps to everyone so that if we get broken up people know where they are going and where the meet points are. The one thing I don't want is for someone to do a stupid banzai overtaking manouevre just to make sure they are on the convoy.
