Cool, should be interesting what figures we both get again,as apart from our turbos we've taken different routes with tunning our engines.Lets hope they both stay in one piece [-o<

the HKS "may" be a stopgap.. but for £200 for the fuel computer, looms and boost electronic controller it seemed silly not too - now that i know a decent RR place to map HKS and not charge horrendus prices.

I "may" go PFC next year with new turbo, depends on how the HKS performs really..

what you think Bry ?.. HKS Fcon piggy v's PFC ? - much in it ? performance wise ? :-k

I'm very pleased with my 3rd, especially as it was a bit of a rush job getting the 205CC in and unichip mapped in time.

All I had was Intake, Exhaust (inc bashed out cat) ST205CC and Unichip, Blitz sbc-id boost control to 17 psi.

No real plans for more mods, infact not really sure which way to go from here as next round could be pricey.
Going to be watching Bry and Frank's progress with interest as similar setups.

I do want to fit a mod to manually turn on both fans to pull some air through the cc prerad. My water temp before first run was already quite high due to heatsoak of the cc from engine as car was fairly stationary for the previous 10mins, and the RR blower didn't start until just before my run started.

Anyone think a downpipe would be worthwhile for me?

Was a great day meeting everyone, looking forward to the next.

Cheers
Andy

how big are those transmission losses? they look like they're around 26% that's huge!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

for example

mark edwards, wheels figure 288, fly figure 364
nick edwards, wheels figure 279, fly figure 356
andy keeble, wheels figure 261, fly figure 337

sorry but i don't believe that transmission losses were that big :?

think i better take my car there with fly figures that optimistic ;)

Well my motec calculations came back as 356fwhp and he said that it would probably be slightly higher than that due to fuel pressure. So i'm happy that the fly figure of 364 is correct.

so why were the wheel power figures so low on all the cars compared to the fly figures? something amiss there :?

I know, I agree  The only figures reliable are wheel.
As soon as I saw my results I asked others if they thought the same.
I gained 17bhp fly and lost 20lb/ft compared with the unichip RR result, 6 days earlier.
Only comparison is between cars on same dyno, same day, same calibration.
But Mark Edwards still rules :D

that's what i'm so suprised about, if my car would've been there i'd have hoped for around 350@wheels but with their fly figures that would've given me 440bhp whereas i'd have thought it was around 18% loss so more like 413bhp. they just seem way too optimisitc for my liking
