So was the 11.5 run in post #1 ever verified?
I got lost in between this thread and others on this subject as to whether or not this was a "real" run.

If it was legit, I would be interested in seeing the mod list for the car.
Also, what was the 60' time?

I wasnt there personally but I checked with the owner of the drag strip (who I've known for 5 years) and he said that all times that were displayed would have been recorded. The guy who said he got the 11.5 didnt contest the prize giving on the day where a Supra TT driver was awarded fastest RWD car, - thats why I have difficulty believeing it all.

alright riki, i did say to the j-tuner guys and the girl working in the hut on the day, was her first day (her words not mine) and on asking here she said 'sorry its not my fault theres been problems with the system' also it only shows that i done 3 runs my last three at that (with wastegate stuck open, 0.6bar boost) my 1st four runs aint even there! but i aint too fussed to be honest. some folks do it for recognition etc, its all just a bit fun in my eyes.

It's all fun mate, thats why we do it. I just think that the time was wrong and if they say there was a fault with the equipment and thats why it never recorded the time then surely there could be a fault with the time it showed?

I was up this weekend and Bill with the R32 GTR (blue one) with 650bhp and 4WD managed a best on the day of 11.7. Having seen your car at Calders and Dee telling me whats been done to it thats why I couldnt believe it got an 11.5.

Not a personal dig at all at you, I just think the timing gear might have been displaying the wrong times.

well off the top of my head my 1st times were a 13.1??, 12.5, 12.4, then turned boost up to 1.6bar for fourth run. and no offence taken at all mate, each person is welcome to their own views and opinions.

bills car is awsome once it gets going but the times i've seen him dragging it, his starts aint exactly quick. time did you run at the weekend?

pm me wi wit dee said as its been changed a wee bit since then, as what he told me may be different to what he told you? plus on opening the engine up i found a few surprises good ones at that.

Well in that case Crail must have lost all of your times because the quickest mr2s on that day were myself and msherry with 13.4s

At the weekend I got a 13.5 which is an improvment from the 13.8 I got in Feb.

Thats now with 18's on, 2 subs and a fully Dynamatted car with a big ass amplifier up front. Not half bad LOL.

NOS will be getting plumbed in ASAP now I know the clutch is working nicely.

Blew the stock one after I got the unichip, fitted an XTD which was a joke then got a SPEC stage 3.

I think there must have been a timing problem, when your at mid-low 12s
its sooo hard to just knock a whole second off your run.
Best bet as you said.....go back and do it again my friend!
