well it kills me to do this but my pride and joy has to go up for sale due to rather unfortunate events :upset: .

i've owned the car for 2 years, and its never put a foot wrong runs flawlessly. now for the basic info on the car:

1994 Rev 3 mr2 turbo
M registered, 1 jap owner and im the 1st UK owner
car had 36,474 miles on it when imported, now has 39,600 miles on it all of which have been dry weather miles.
car has just had oil changed (silkolene pros 10w-50), new coolant (toyota red), new plugs and leads.
new beake pads front and rear 200 miles ago.
car currently is off the road for winter so no tax but will tax before sale

Lovely car mate and great spec! Any idea what power she's running?

last time the car was RR, it made 265whp and 256ft/lb of torque @ .7bar of boost (this was with the K1 380-V turbo), mow has the K3-T on it at same boost level, not been dyno'd with this turbo.

although looks like i have a buyer for the K3 kit so the K1 is going back on (hence the price, if it was being sold with the K3 i'd be looking for 8k), the K1 will handle up to 1.4bar.

If you don't mind me asking: you have a specially built engine with custom turbo on it, but only running 0.7 bar boost Why such low boost? Standard Rev3 with the OE CT20B is already running 0.9 Bar.
Wouldn't this engine be able to handle just about double the boost that it is running now, giving massive HP??

first off nope i dont mind you asking , to answer your questions, the low boost well why not? the low boost was selected as when the car was mapped i wanted to see the results it could give on low boost. after driving the car like this it was still pretty quick and i've been content with it since then, hence why i haven't bothered number chasing and turning the boost up.

also yes the engine would easily handle double the boost it currently runs, and more. will be good for 2bar (with the correct mapping)
