- they're a bit intrusive on default setting. But the interesting thing is how much the speed on the detector underreads the speedo - I guess the GPS should be much more accurate (disregarding the lag time of about 1 second), but it can under cut the speedo by up to 7mph especially at speeds over 60mph. Has anyonr else found this, or does my speedo need recalibrating?... Does take a second to track the speed via satellite, but if I'm driving at a constant speed it's pretty much dead on........I tend to belive the origin b2 as the most accurate. 
The cars speedo is about 3-5mph faster than the GPS speedo. Car speedos over-read, probably so that the car companies dont get sued by people getting done for speeding. Dont forget too that as your tyres wear down the accuracy of the cars speedo changes, the GPS one is always constant.& wasnt calibrated properly.& the road angel is exacly at 112mph, so the speedo reads wrong, but the ecu measures roadspeed correctly....I guess its just the needle position.- yes the GPS speedo (when cruising at a constant speed) is far more accurate than the awful speedos that come with most cars! If you were selling a car and you were allowed by law to make it appear to be 10% faster than it really was, what would you do? Countless stories of "My Fiesta was bombing down the motorway at 130mph" when it's probably only about 112mph (or whatever).
