Should a rev 2 3S-GE have 2 radiator fans?

As the title says, should a rev 2 3S-GE have 2 radiator fans?

I'm planning to replace the radiator anyway, but today I noticed there's only one radiator fan, and an unused connector next to it

Thanks for the info. Mine definitely doesn't have AC, odd that there's a connector hanging by the rad

I believe it's part of the loom from factory.

Yep. If you look in your engine bay you'll see a couple of plugs not connected to anything - they are for the air-con.

It's cheaper to have one production making one loom and paying a couple yen extra for unused connectors that it would be to make separate looms for for every configuration.

I did wonder about the spare engine bay plugs, but a few people have pointed out that Toyota used the same wiring loom no matter what spec or market the car was. Makes sense
