Hi Guys,

I'm servicing my 1997 MR2 G-Limited automatic and want to what type of automatic gearbox fluid it needs to drain and refill please?

Hi 1 st I recommend dropping sump off the auto box clean magnets in sump and replace filter inside auto box about £30 from Toyota and is a service item,on mine it's says dextron 2 on dip stick but I've put dextron 3 in and been fine,also I'll have some spare bits for auto soon like mini ecu in centre console mine died and I bought new one from toyota.
Too weird to live, to rare to die

Yes Dexron 2 drain and refill 3.4 litres (dry fill 8 litres)

I have removed the auto lever and boxes from mine (so have spares if needed) as I moved the O/D PWR and Man buttons to the dash and fitted a modified lever to my auto
