
I just been to brands hatch today and had a real blast on track with my mr2 turbo but it seems the cc is overheating after along session rising up to 70 degrees.

looking back im sure you realise need to look at keeping your hand position more consistent, and at 3 and 9.![]()
(does feel like your holding the wheel a little high in general?)
it takes a video of yourself driving to show areas of improvement.and you can compare lines and times.

It's a bodge& open to failure- if you do rely on it make sure your ECU is clever enough to spot knock and to pull timing/ dump extra fuel in to protect your engine.
AND..

.it certainly is not the
only
thing that will give you the results you are after.

.proper charge cooling will, and it will be far more reliable.
