Part number needed!!

Post by MR2Kyle »

Hi folks,
I'm in need of the part number of the little black...plastic grommet that sits below the door catch on the inside of where the door sits...will put up a photo of the part later but the clips in mine have broken off so I really need a new one :pale:
Thanks :thumleft:

If no one comes through, I've always found my local Toyota dealership parts department to be able to locate parts for me - depends how helpful they are tho!

If you take a picture of the location of the part I'll try and find the part number for you. Also what's the year and model of the car?

That is where the door control switch is located, I've checked the EPC and cannot find a blanking grommet listed, only the switch.

Good find, wasn't expecting to find them on the seat belt section of the EPC!

Well folks thanks for the help but it seems the part has been discontinued so...I don't know how I'm going to manage taking one of another car without the clips breaking but I will try my best!!
Thanks again though!

They are listed under seatbelt because that little arm controls the seatbelt retractor mechanism - it is not a door/lighting control switch.
