Re: Scorpion Exhaust
Sounds good to me then man
what about the bolts gaskets and the rubber hangers, are they all reusable from the old exhaust system to the new one with decat?

Re: Scorpion Exhaust
Mine only used the b-pipe and rear rubber hangers for the exhaust
.
.
might have a sweet decat downpipe for sale
.
.
didnt foul the wastegate and had a massive bellmouth
.

Ill send you pics if your interested

Re: Scorpion Exhaust
Alright man, well the scorpion one im looking at is the full system has the decat down pipe and
mufflers
but it is all already bolted together so I can just reuse the gasket and bolt it to where the only one comes off the turbo? And then use the hangers and it'll be done pretty much
:')

Re: Scorpion Exhaust
I reused gaskets and bolts
.
.
but this is a car forum so i should say replace them for the best outcome
.
.
leave it upto you
.

Re: Scorpion Exhaust
Reusing is find
Is one of the mufflers supposed to have a clamp on it?
-see photos below- the drivers side has bolts but passengers side doesn't have anything?

Re: Scorpion Exhaust
Pipe-work looks a bit small for a turbo 2" odd maybe
.
.
had twin 70mm on my mongoose
.
.
dont like pi$$ing on parades

The guy says it came off a turbo, 3sgte model so I have one of them and just guessing it'll for straight on?
:') my pipes are smaller than that and rusted at the moment
:') are you saying it won't fit? And what about a clamp being there? Should there be one there?

Re: Scorpion Exhaust
Sweeet
and yeah it's got both of the hangers
the bit im worried about is the bit from the from the top muffler to the bit where they meet, how is that held together? Isn't it supposed to have a clamp on it?

Re: Scorpion Exhaust
I'm really sorry mate i cant tell from the picture
.
.
not sure what you mean by a clamp
.
.
you should have two brackets that attach the the cars rubber hangers
.

Re: Scorpion Exhaust
Do you mean the rubber mount attached before the exhaust branches off into two
? im a bit confused bud
.

Re: Scorpion Exhaust
Nahhh, you see where it branches off and it goes to the drivers side and it have bolts holding on the muffler? Yeah on the passengers side what the hell is holding that one on? I see it's got something pushed on so it goes together but what's to stop that falling off? Shouldn't there be a clamp around that little part to hold the muffler on the part that branches off?
Re: Scorpion Exhaust
Ahh got ya
.
.
yeah should have an exhaust clamp on it

Re: Scorpion Exhaust
Would my old system have one on there that I could use? And is it 100% needed?
:')
