Short answer, yes they will fit as you can see in this photo of the blue

"tacky" version in my n/a

These are a metal frame seat with quite a low seat cushion.

They are also fairly roomy width wise and will fit in the cabin without fouling the door or anything.

They have both side and base mounting points.

In my case I used the base mounting points on MR2 bride seat rails as I wanted to maintain back and fro movement of the seat, and the base mounting points line up with the mounting points on the bride rail.

On a t-bar I found this setup resulted in a slightly lower than stock seat squab height, partly because its quite thin on the forza.

I'm afraid I haven't tried mounting these directly to the floor using side mounts which would obviously result in a lower seat height again.

The general advice on here is to avoid metal frame bucket seats, but I can understand the attraction of the lower cost.

However.

I was never really happy with the Forza and on longer journeys found whilst it was roomy, the side metal rails became annoying and uncomfortable after a while, but then I do have an expansive waistline which Christmas hasn't helped

I've now replaced the Forza with a

(large) Sparco Pro 2000 GRP bucket seat which overall I find much more comfortable.

In this case I've used Sparco side mounts bolted to Sparco MR2 seat rails

(which are even harder to find than Bride rails).

I never compared the two with a tape measure, but suspect my current setup has a slightly higher squab height than was the case with the Forza setup.

But it is much more comfortable.

And to be honest I'm sorry I went for the cheaper option first.

Ideally I'd to try and meet up with other MR2 owners with bucket seats fitted so you can try them out before shelling out.

But if that's not possible, and you're on a tight budget Forza's will fit, and for what it's worth I'm around six foot and comfortably cleared the t-bar shades.

But it really does depend on your height especially as ideally you'd want to still be clear with a lid on.

I purchased the Sparco seat through GSM and can't speak too highly of the service.

They really did go out of their way to answer all my questions and get the tape measure out to check all the dimensions for me during a very long stream of emails while I tried to work out if it would fit both cabin, me and my Sparco rails.

Hope that helps rather than confuses.

Paul
