Discussion and technical advice the SW20 MR2. 3S-GTE, 3S-GE, 3S-FE etc
Anything and everything to do with maintenance, modifications and electrical is in here for the Mk2.
Not saying you lying or anything but considering the surface at Crail, the conditions, the times a 600+bhp Supra with auto box and high stall convertor and then your time it does make you wonder.
I spoke to Willie Robertson earlier to apologise for not making it across and I asked him about the timing problems. He said there were some technical issues but times shouldnt have been lost and if they were displayed on the laptop they should have been stored.

i know what your saying rikki but as you said kenny only done one run and would have most definately went faster than me if he'd got another go at it, i dont doubt tht. and as for not losing times, i know of a few folks with printouts of there times, yet it aint on the computer system?
every time i've beent to crail theres always problems with the system and i aint been that often!
I got a 13.4 which is my quickest time yet, very pleased considering my spec, just need that chargecooler now.....could also do with losing 4 stone!!!!

You can post it to me now if you like Toni.
Don't count your chickens yet mate, i know of another MR2 with 306bhp at the hubs, with launch control, antilag and flatshift that's coming down! (and his car's just been on a weight loss plan similar to yours too)

It'll need a bit more power than that my friend. I'm pushing around 320 at the wheels, so about 340 at the hubs.

It's all about the gear changes though aint it me old "Cog Muncher"
Can't wait for Sunday now, gonna be a proper sight to behold, depending on the weather [-o<
It's not the cogs that are the problem, it's the selector forks. Hopefully that won't be an issue now with the newer box.[-o<
Just need to set up the flatshifting on the motec if i get the chance.
As for the weather, we can only hope it's dry.

I may pop down in the van!!
Ive got all the CC stuff fitted and bled up and my new down pipe and screemer will be done on Saturday, but my turbo has landed about 2" to the left of the CC inlet which is neither hear nor there, so i don't know whether to get the inlet moved or try a S in Samco
