Cut and polish should do the job .. metal polish with super fine abrasives , should also work.. anything you can think of a liquid sandpaper should remove oxidation

These are mine after spending about 20 mins per light cluster with T cut and polish:
I personally wouldn't get into sanding and laquering them, effort, T cut and polish gets a good enough result imo.

i actually gave them a go this morning, spent about 3 minutes on one wee section, the difference is notable, i'll get them done properly tonight

Haha, i'll stick to using polish until my lights get a cavity thanks for the advice folks
