broke into the 11's today!!

went to crail today with the hope of at least getting into the 11's, but i ended up doing better than i'd hoped

ok so heres what this threads all about i suppose made 5 runs, my best being an 11.565 @ 122mph

hopefully over winter the car'll be taken to bits, bigger turbo fitted, exh manifold, possibly inlet manifold aswell and finally remapped

all i can say is im well chuffed!

Strange one this, my mate Kenny reckons his Supra was the fastest car at Crail today and even got a trophy for his troubles.

"Went today, Done 1 run, Got away from the line well, Daiseys new shoes were gripping well, Ran a 11.8 with KevP1 as a passenger and the full trim in the car

Melted a plug on the run limiting my day to The first run i done at 11.8@118mph (plug went somewhere on the run as my terminal speed was lower, If only it hadnt eh.......... )

Managed to pull a 1.9 60ft time in the supra, Which is pretty reasonable for a RWD car, Infact this was probily as fast as most AWD cars there

Still i was the fastest car at J:Tuner, Fastest Toyota obviously. Only had to do 1 run and no one could catch my time.............

Yeh Rikki I was wondering this myself too, I've checked on the crail raceway site and the quickest mr2 in the J-tuner Toyota class ran a 13.4 (I should've been in the 12s but my downpipe cracked!). I've checked the 2.0l turbo class too incase he'd put himself in the wrong class but couldn't find him. Wierd.

kenny would've went faster tho if he didn't have to retire after one good run, and plus the timing system crashed twice throuout the day and i know of alot of people who lost times due to this including me! i shoulve got a printout of my times as soon as i came off the strip but i didn't.

as for the doubters fair enough, your entitled to your opinion, but i and the others that seen my time on the laptop in the hut know i ran that time, guess i'll just have to go back up an do it again

Yup! You should've gotten a printout
