In the wet not soo hot but then I don't drive quick in the rain but in the dry they are really really confidence inspiring

i bought the proxies because of reviews on the old imoc site and they were pish from the outset.

No lateral grip unless you abused them first,
surface changes in the rain were plain scary
under power the rear would wander all over the road and
turning into corners the back end would try and pass the front
Changed to the a022's and hey back to normal grippy behaviour. My experience only and I know loads of people rate the proxies, I don't however

A022s are fine in the dry, useless in the wet- tyre compound technologies have moved on a long way since they came out and were fitted as OEM to the Mk2
Go for S03s or Goodyear F1's if you're using 15" rims.As good in the dry as A-022s, but
much better wet grip.

BenF,Is the wear ipmproved for these better tyres or do they wear just as fast?

I guess they dont have that problem in Japan.
Anyway my S03's seem to be holding up fine and give me a good amount of grip.
Just my optinion
