Is this the PCV drain nipple from the catch can?

The circled fitting on the head is where the rev 3 catch can return hose connects to.

The blue hose looks like it should be connected to the turbo vsv or one of the other components under the inlet manifold. Looks like you don't have any of those though.

This is what it should look like. I've stolen this image

I don't have any of this stuff.. It wasn't on the engine when I removed it.

The car did have a MBC on which I removed but plummed what I thought was the VSV back in.. But i'm guessing it just didn't go anywhere. What would this have done???

Do I need any of this or is it just a case of getting an EBC which was the plan.. what would be the effect of running the car like this?

I think if fitting a boost controller none of that is needed. I've been stripping my car and don't seem to have any of the tvsv parts under the inlet manifold.

Ok that seems to be the case.. I think I'll just block the hoses then and get myself an EBC.. Not planning on driving the car anywhere just want to get it running for that I think it will be ok..

The turbo vsv isn't required if you've got some other boost controller. I've removed mine.
You won't have tvis with your car being a rev 3.

Again, choose your images wisely, lol

That is of a rev1/2, with tvis and different vsv layouts to a rev3+!

Top pic, is drain tube off the oem catchcan.

Blue hose goes to the tvsv, you can see one opening in the pic on the tvsv.
Another hose then goes from the other port to a hardline that sits very very close to the engine passenger side that goes to your actuator! (A similar line to the one arrowed with no label).

But if your fitting an ebc, you won't need it worry about this.
Block off the blue pipe and tvsv ports.

If use oem catchcan, drain port into first pic. Otherwise block.

You don't need one to get the car started or boosting.
It will simply just run actuator pressure. (Block right had port on actuator, and run line from left hand actuator port to turbo).

You use the mbc/ebc to up the boost, this fits between the actuator and turbo.

Brilliant. cool will just get the car started. Then get the EBC sorted later on.
