It needs to be rich at the top end, that is what stops it blowing up

Would a st250 be a good plan as does this lean out the fuel at the top end or would a Power FC be best ?

i feel like general statements like this aren't helpful. there would be an ideal AFR and getting as close to this as possible would be preferable to just running super-rich. getting a Power FC and having the map smoothed out is a good way forward (as I've just done - post to follow :) ).

I would say leave the ecu unless you are going for forged and turbo etc.

What's the point of sacrificing the safety of running rich for the sake of 10bhp at most.

297bhp on standard ct20b is good on anyone's book and is enough to deal with 90% of cars on the road

297 at the wheels on a CT20b would be witchcraft.

I'm pretty sure hux racings in the us managed more than that at the wheels with a ct20b. The rest of the engine mind, was far from stock though!
