Well this thread has grown since I was last on IMOC

Thank you Ash for the very kind transport offer, it really is appreciated.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
Currently I cannot afford the circa
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
£120
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
-£150 for the trailer and petrol costs.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
Money really is very tight at the moment as my partner is on statutory minimum maternity pay, leaving me to pretty much cover our mortgage, bills, car finance, loan, etc.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
Which is almost impossible so trying to find the money to cover these costs as well isn't going to happen.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
I may take it off the road for a while and try to rectify the issue whilst it's not costing money to insure/tax etc.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
Slipping clutch
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
- thank you for the suggestion.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
I have double checked all of the lighting wiring etc and the lighting is definitely earthed properly and definitely isn't the issue.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
I also took all the lighting fuses out to double check and the drain was still there.

Peter
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
- got to be honest I'm a little taken aback by your posts and their tone.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
If you read the posts above
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
- I haven't posted anything about or modified my rear light looms recently.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
That was another member quoting a post that I made quite some time ago and trying to offer constructive advice.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
So no I didn't do any tests for parasitic drain or do the tests you requested then as that was some weeks/months ago!!!
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
The car left me and went up North with, to the best of my knowledge no electrical drain.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
Prior to leaving me it was left for several extended periods of non-usage and started up on the first turn of the key.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
The battery wasn't discharging and the car wasn't failing to start when left for periods of time.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
Yes as you state there had been previous electrical issues but this was almost 2 years ago and as far as I am aware these were resolved.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
The car had regularly been left for between 2-3 weeks without issue before.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
It was left for some time untouched when I pulled it out of the garage for your trip up north in it as I had only just moved house.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
I appreciate the thoughts on the loom earthing.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
This may be connected to the previous issues but it would seem odd that it would develop so long after the initial fault.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
I worked a 20 hour shift today and have done over 100 hours this week.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
I try to respond as quickly as possible.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
There were numerous 2-3 week
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
+ periods during my build that I was contacting you every day and you didn't respond once so it doesn't seem right to bring up that fact that you sent me a request via PM late yesterday and I haven't replied to it yet.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
I have received your PM but still no SMS messages from you
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
- so in answer to your question no SMS clearly isn't working.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
I'm more than happy to send you a screen shot or my bill if you don't believe me.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
Your PM was sent to me at 22:49 last night so waiting 24 hours for a response is hardly unreasonable.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
My partner is 4 days away from giving birth, work is manic and everything is rather hectic.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
Couple that with the fact that I've had two deaths in the family, and Nics brother has been involved in a car crash all within the past month means that whilst I get things done as quickly as possible it isn't immediate.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
Have I done the tests you requested
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
- yes I have.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
That's why I was logging on, in order to send you a PM when I saw your post.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
At no point do I recollect you mentioning collecting the car for the price of fuel and a train ticket.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
Thank you for the offer, although I probably couldn't afford this at the moment anyway
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
- I literally am counting pennies until Nic returns to work.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
I appreciate all the help ideas and advice that I receive from everyone on the forum, especially in times of need like this.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
I would appreciate you not voicing the fact that you are frustrated with me publicly, especially when I haven't done anything wrong.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
I didn't even publicly scribe my frustrations during my build which was something that I was paying for.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
I will respond to your PM now.
