Mk2 Golf BBS wheels are 4x100 but I can't seem to find a definitive offset value.(the race series only allows wheels equivalent to the standard dimensions to be used) They look awesome but my original wheel nuts are too long and I now can fit the centre pieces on! I wonder if I take the old ones into a fabrication engineer they'll have something that would work, as they'll still need to be tapered.
Will I definitely need spigot rings? The wheels I replaced were aftermarket TSWs and didn't have them as far as I know. These ones seem to fit ok and I've taken it for a quick test ride and it all feels fine. They're not Toyota specific though so knowing my luck I'll probably have to send them back! 
They're only around 5 quid anyway so no great expense just to be on the safe side. If you're using tapered nuts this isn't so important as the taper of the nuts will perform the same function. If you are using flat wheel nuts it's more important. Without spigot rings this load can't be transferred and the load is instead taken by the wheel studs. Although many people will report that they run like this with no problems it's not as designed and you really ought to use spigot rings for this reason if you want to do things properly.@ Ryan. The Lenso wheels centre bore is indeed 73mm and the MR2 is only 54mm. Annoyingly the spigot rings on the Lenso's were for a VW and were only 3mm out, but that's quite a significant distance in the engineering world so I've ordered some new ones in the correct size. The last thing I want is for the studs to shear and having a potentially massive accident! On looking at both the old and new wheels, both actually have spigot rings. I'd never even noticed them before!@kaiowas. Thanks for the info. It was this that actually made me get the correct rings! I really don't wanna face turning my MR2 into a 3 wheeler and then a write off! And thanks for the earlier advice about the E30 wheels. I'm desperate to get into MR2 racing, whether it be destroying my pride and joy and turning that into a race car, or buying one already done! As soon as my kids are grown up, my wife had divorced me, and my mortgage company decides to be kind and let me have my house for free, I'll be straight on it! Speaking of which, with regard to my virtual MR2 for rFactor, which is the biggest Mk1 MR2 racing series in the UK right now? I need to sign up to their forums and get some good pics of all the cars so I can paint them up. Kaiowas, do you still have your black and orange beast? I remember years ago you showing interest, so your car will be the first to be painted!
