Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] you think you have probs with wiring lol
most of that is my work lmao apart from all the stereo connectors,
the problem is the gauges, each gauge has four wires hence it looks a mess, i cant solder them due to the fact the dash still needs to come out and the thick red ones switch on the nitrous controller and switch
so the only option was to use block connectors and bullet connectors
i am well open to suggestions but it will never bring down the number of connections needed

Looks like you have a lot of excess cable could be got rid of
Crimp connectors great if you need to remove them
Solder then if you can
get rid of the block connector
Suggestion would be if you need to unplug it all is get some automotive plugs and make up some proper plugs for it all

Here you go try these http://www.polevolt.co.uk/acatalog/Smal ... ctors.html
Get rid of the bullit connectors and the block connector and it looks like you have built a bonfire out of coloured twigs and your just waiting for a spark and it's only a matter of time before you get one.
Start again by taping the wires to make it look like a loom. Make up a fly lead with plug for each gauge and colour code with tape so when you need to take it apart you will know what gauge plugs into what plug on the loom. Insulation tape in different colours is available from most auto shops.
It would go like this for example:-
oil temperature sensor-loom (grouped with other wires) into the dash-four wires for the oil temperature gauge insulated together-colour coded tape -female four pin plug-male four pin plug-colour coded fly lead-oil temperature gauge.
Or you could use a different type of plug for each gauge.
